About learning process

Explore ancient preventative self-care system in six weeks to improve health and promote longevity. Start your transformation from the first day with the practical exercises and homework. The classes are scheduled each Saturday at 4:00 pm starting from October 19, 2019, to November 23 in Sammamish. There are six classes two hours each. They comprise major topics about health care and prevention. The description of classes is below. Stay connected through emails and phone. Get all your questions answered during the six weeks and even then. Do not stress out if you are not able to join the class. Attend a live-streamed class from your place or revisit the online archived classes later at their convenience. Review a material when needed with lifetime access to the video records. Ayurvedic consultation scheduled individually. A follow-up consultation is about 6-8 weeks after the first consultation.

Course Description

October 19th - Ayurvedic Foundation - the sacred knowledge of life

Ayurveda is a science, based on the laws of nature. Learn the basic principles of Ayurveda for a healthy life. We all have an individualized biochemical world inside of us. Find out your Ayurvedic constitution and learn how to determine it for your loved ones. An understanding of the constitution will help to discover the best diet and lifestyle to support health. The class includes practical exercises to evaluate the Doshic constitution.

October 26th - The three pillars of a healthy life

According to Ayurveda, there are three pillars to support our life: consumption (inputs), actions, and sleep. Learn simple steps to support your health. Improve your sleep quality, boost your health with yoga and Pranayama and Ayurvedic daily routines.

November 2nd - Food as medicine - medicine as food

We are what we digest. Ayurveda says, that our digestion power responsible for our health. Taking care of our digestion helps to keep you away from major diseases. “When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use; when the diet is correct, medicine is of no need”- Ancient Ayurvedic Proverb. Step out from the restrictions to understanding the quality and energy of your food according to the six tastes. Ayurveda has all the knowledge to personalize your diet, make it tasty and healthy at one time.

November 9th - The Healing Power of the spices

Spices have the magic power to improve our digestion, health, and taste of the food. Understanding the spices and herbs opens a new chapter in your life to naturally get rid of congestion and cold, boost your immunity, etc.

November 16th - Parinama - the effect of the time

Do you really know how the time can affect you? Does it matter when to go to sleep, how to be ready for the spring or fall? The time flowing constantly around us. The problem is that we usually do not care about time changes. Each season has a different influence on our bodies. Following the seasonal flow could protect us from common cold and allergies, overheating, headaches, etc. Understanding your personality and time changes will help you to stay healthy regardless of the time, season, and age.

November 23rd - Ayurveda and the mind

Our mind is affecting our thoughts and actions. It is connected to the sense organs and the perception. The mind is responsible for grief and happiness. The grief and anxiety cause disease and happiness supports health. When you are overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, it's time to look inside and help your mind to move to a state of calmness and happiness. Ayurveda has great suggestions and tools to get rid of stress and balance yourself to prevent it.
